Everything you enter — birds, weigh-ins, feed, training sessions, moult and gear records — stays on your device only. Flying Weight has no account and no server, so there is nothing to sync or lose to the cloud. See the privacy policy for details.
Use Settings → Export to write a CSV file of your book, then use the share sheet to send it to your new device through AirDrop, Files, or however you prefer. Flying Weight itself has no cloud backup by design.
No. Flying Weight never computes or suggests a weight. It only keeps the record — the band you set, what the bird weighed, what it ate, and how it flew — so you can make that call yourself, the way an experienced falconer does.
Check that Flying Weight has camera and photo access under iOS Settings → Privacy & Security. Both permissions are optional; the weigh-in book works fully without photos.
